About the Founders

About the Founders

It started with a simple question; "Why didn't anyone tell me this could happen?"

Feeling broken after her first birth and having just retired from a 10-year career as a professional athlete; Kimmy was referred to a leading Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Lyz Evans.

She asked the question Lyz had heard countless times before. "Why didn't anyone tell me this could happen?"

It was a question that Lyz was sick of hearing. She had seen too many women walk through her doors feeling let down by a system that had failed to prepare them for birth - or support them afterwards.

Together, they knew that women and new mothers deserved more. It shouldn't just be the lucky few who have access to expert-led care.

From this shared vision, they created the Empowered Motherhood Program; a comprehensive, physio-led online platform offering women practical, evidence-based guidance, exercises, and support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum to help them regain confidence, strength, and wellbeing.
