Pelvic Pain + First Pregnancy

At around 20 weeks, I started getting bad pelvic pain and lower back pain.  The EMP really helped me to manage my pain and keep moving safely. 

My favourite thing about the EMP has been the week by week program which has kept me really dedicated. I love that it follows me through my whole pregnancy, birth and then the postnatal period. I also really liked the expert Q+A's which have been hugely beneficial to me.

Going into my birth, I felt so much more prepared and relaxed than I would have without the EMP.

I have already referred to lots of my friends to the EMP. It's the first thing I tell all my pregnant friends!  ♡

Difficult Delivery + Postnatal Healing

After my first labour being relatively uneventful, my second was far from this. I had a difficult delivery with forceps and a posterior baby. My body felt so broken.

I found out I had borderline bladder and bowel prolapse, stomach separation and a weak pelvic floor.

The EMP has been amazing! I can't recommend this program highly enough. It has totally changed my approach to exercise postpartum and helped so much with my physical and mental recovery.

The educational videos have helped me understand the real importance of my core and pelvic floor. I love that the program is broken into weeks and what exercises to do each week postpartum so that I can build up my strength safely.

I have learnt to be kind to myself, accept my body for where I am now and proud of all it has been through.♡

First Pregnancy + Return to Impact and Running

I joined the EMP early in my first pregnancy. I had back pain, insomnia and I wanted to find safe pregnancy exercise that would replace running.

As a first-time Mum, I loved the education from Kimmy + Lyz, the way the program supported me through every stage of my pregnancy and the fact that I could easily fit a workout in before work or at night in front of the TV,

I'm now 8 months postpartum and have returned to running with the EMP return to running program. I love that I can return to running and impact safely and that I have the workouts that keep me challenged and motivated.

My baby boy is super busy, so he loves the Mum + Baby workouts that we do together.

I highly recommend the EMP and have recommended it to all my pregnant friends! I love that the workouts are simple, you can always find time to get them done, and that you feel confident that you are doing the best for your body.

Pelvic Pain + Third Pregnancy

I had quite bad pelvic girdle pain through my pregnancy. I was so grateful to be able to attend the EMP Live Q+A with Lyz, where she helped me to understand that I had pelvic girdle pain (and not sciatica like I first thought!). She also  guided me to the exact workouts I needed to keep my pain under control, help me to stay strong and be able to chase after my two boys. 

The EMP is a pregnancy + postnatal bible in your pocket! I love the variety of all the workouts and the confidence that I felt knowing that I was doing the right exercises for my body at every stage of my pregnancy.

The ability to chat to Kimmy and Lyz at any stage was so valuable.

I felt so empowered going into my third birth I felt strong from all the workouts, supported and excited to give birth a third time. ♡
